UBUNYE METHOD
About the Ubunye Method
Most of us carry more than we realise: old hurts, held tension, a quiet sense that there’s more to us than the life we’re living, and no clear way to reach it.
The Ubunye Method is a way back. It’s a guided meditation practice for healing emotionally, mentally and spiritually, delivered as an app in three chapters.
OUR NAME
Ubunye means oneness
Ubunye is the Nguni word for oneness. We chose it for what it means, not as a religious or cultural affiliation. The Ubunye Method is spiritual, not religious.
In our understanding, everything is energetically connected. At that level, we are already one. But we come into this life with an ego self that feels separate from other people, from the world around us, and often from ourselves.
That’s why oneness, as we use the word, begins within. It means becoming one with yourself: a consciousness recalibration in which the masculine and feminine parts of you come into balance, and an intuitive connection opens. From there, you come back into tune with the oneness everything already shares.
WHERE IT COMES FROM
Twenty years of practice, drawn into one clear path
The Ubunye Method was conceived from a combined twenty years of experience in conscious spiritual development practices: meditation, energy work, intuitive development, and the deep inner work of becoming one with yourself.
Over those years, one truth kept proving itself in practice: we are more than our physical bodies. The Method draws that experience together into one clear path, so you don’t have to spend twenty years finding it on your own.

WHY IT EXISTS
More than your physical body
The Ubunye Method exists to help you awaken to the fact that you are more than your physical body. You have a connection to your higher self, your soul self and your spiritual self, and it can be felt, not just believed.
Awaken to your higher self
Your higher self is an extension of who you are, existing in a higher dimension of reality. It is your soul: the part of you that is not limited by your physical body, and that can guide you once you learn to listen to it.
Heal as you reconnect
The Method’s second purpose is healing. Reconnecting with those parts of yourself is itself a process of healing: emotional, mental and spiritual.
Practise wherever you are
We built it as an app so that anyone can follow that path, wherever they are, one session at a time.
AT ITS HEART
You are soul first and body second.
And the path back to that truth runs through becoming one with yourself.
HOW THE JOURNEY UNFOLDS
From the body, gently deeper
The three chapters begin with the body and move gently deeper: through the mind and its beliefs, into energy work, and toward the soul. Each session builds on the one before.
The body
We start with the body because that’s where you hold what you’ve been carrying.
The mind
Then through the mind and the beliefs that shape how you see yourself and the world.
Energy work
Into energy work, where you learn to feel what you are beyond the physical.
The soul
And toward the soul, and your connection to your higher self.
AT THE CENTRE OF IT ALL
"It's through the heart that you connect with your higher self."
We see the heart as your intuitive centre, your connection to the soul. Your spiritual self isn’t somewhere far away. It’s here, available through your physical experience, not apart from it. You don’t have to take any of this on faith. Everything in the Method is meant to be tested against your own experience.
TO BE CLEAR
Honest from the start
A few things the Ubunye Method is, and a few things it isn’t, so you know exactly what you’re beginning.
Spiritual
not religious
It makes no claim about God or scripture that you’re asked to accept, and it doesn’t require you to adopt any belief system.
Supportive
not medical treatment
It isn’t a replacement for care you need. Meditation can bring up difficult things, and it isn’t right for everyone. Please read our disclaimer before you begin.
Your practice
not a guru's
There’s no guru here. The practice is the point, the work is yours, and everything is meant to be tested against your own experience.
